Whether you want to explore feudal Japan, a theoretical far future, or your favorite fictional backdrop, any setting is fair game! Built to be a playground, E-Scape can look and feel however you want.

This offers GMs the unique opportunity to tell stories that explore the gritty desperation of fugitives as innocents around them are none the wiser.

Game mechanics that serve the game world

E-Scape uses a custom d8 dice pool system designed to highlight the rigors of life on the run. Count successes, push to gain more, and improve your character in real time.

But beware: do too much and you’ll accrue glitches and bugs that randomly worsen your character’s stats. The only way to buy them off is to complete illicit jobs to earn in-game Maintenance Points to get them back!
